Privacy Policy
Last updated
This Privacy Policy explains what information Edgy Veggie Salad Co. (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit edgyveggiesaladco.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.
Information we collect
This website has no forms, accounts, or checkout, so we don’t ask you to enter personal information here. We collect information in two ways:
- Information you send us yourself, for example when you email or call us. We use it only to reply to you and handle your request.
- Information collected automatically through analytics cookies, described below, if you haven’t opted out: pages you visit, how you move around the site, the links you click, your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and your approximate location (city or region, from your IP address).
Cookies and analytics tools
We use these tools to understand how people use the site so we can improve it:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures visits and how pages are used. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) shows how visitors use pages through heatmaps and session replays, which record clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. It sets cookies named _clck and _clsk.
We also set one cookie of our own, cookie_consent, only if you opt out, so we remember your choice for 12 months. We don’t use advertising pixels on this site.
Your choices
- Cookie Settings: select “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of any page and turn off “Allow analytics and advertising cookies”. Analytics stops loading and any analytics cookies already set are removed.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically.
- Browser settings: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Other services on this site
- Map: the About Us page includes a Google Maps map. When it loads, Google may collect information such as your IP address under Google’s own privacy policy.
- Online ordering: the “Order Delivery” button takes you to order.edgyveggiesaladco.com, a separate ordering system. Information you enter there is handled under that system’s own terms and privacy policy.
- Social media: links to our Facebook and Instagram pages take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
- Hosting: the website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.
How we use and share information
We use the information above to run and improve this website and to respond to you. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it except with the service providers listed above, which process it on our behalf, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Analytics data is kept according to each provider’s retention settings; Google Analytics keeps event data for no more than 14 months. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to help you.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
